On Through Swords And Spears, I Seek Infinity, Conjecture explores heroism through the idea of Divine Annihilation: the conscious surrender and dissolution of the self in pursuit of an absolute reality beyond the limits of human existence.
The album follows the transcendence of ego, desire and personal identity as a process of transformation. Through sacrifice and discipline, individual will is directed beyond self-interest and mortality. Heroism emerges as the effort to overcome the human condition and become a vessel for absolute truth—while retaining the possibility of a higher form of individual fulfilment.
Musically, the album takes a more austere and intense direction within Conjecture’s industrial vocabulary. Forceful industrial structures meet neoclassical arrangements, atmospheric layers and ritualistic elements. Imposing rhythms give way to orchestral severity and volatile, fragmented passages, creating a sound shaped by tension, physicality and psychological intensity.
Vocals stand at the centre of this vision, shifting between declaration, invocation and raw outburst. Across the album, discipline and instability, structural precision and unrestrained expression converge in a sound that pursues transcendence through force.
